SSM-1-150 Seismic spring mounts have a heavy duty steel spring isolator unit with built in all directional snubbing. Snubbings are providing all-directional, since seismic inputs do not come at any particular direction. This model is designed to withstand minimum seismic forces of approximately 2G even at maximum rated loads, making it suitable and safe for most critical applications (including zone 4 areas). Input seismic force 2G is the highest input magnitude ever recorded anywhere in the world. The Snubbing element is a high quality molded neoprene, the housing is made of steel construction with rugged zinc metallized finish. Springs have a 50% additional travel to solid beyond rated load as per the ASHRAE recommendations.
